# What is Luxonis Hub Agent?

> **Deprecation Notice**
> This page describes features that have been removed or replaced in Luxonis Hub. Functionality may be limited and only available
to Hub Original customers. Please refer to the up-to-date guides to provision devices, manage fleets, and deploy applications.

The Hub Agent is installed on your local machine and provides communication with Luxonis' cloud service. It can be installed on
Linux-based devices, including low-power devices such as Raspberry Pi. Limitations include a minimum of 2GB of RAM, with 4+ GB
strongly recommended, and a 64-bit operating system (Ubuntu or Raspi OS). Please see the detailed [installation
guide](https://docs.luxonis.com/cloud/advanced/legacy/hub-agent/installation.md).

Before installation, please ensure that all necessary rules are correctly set up on your
[firewall](https://docs.luxonis.com/cloud/advanced/legacy/hub-agent/firewall-network.md).

The agent has a [command line interface (CLI)](https://docs.luxonis.com/cloud/advanced/legacy/hub-agent/cli.md). For management,
you can use classic SSH access to the device. Another option is remote access via the Hub. Please navigate to device detail, where
you'll find access to the Web Terminal.

Configuration of the agent can be done via its page in the cloud. Please navigate to Settings on its detail page. More advanced
settings are available through the configuration file. Details about this topic can be found
[here](https://docs.luxonis.com/cloud/advanced/legacy/hub-agent/configuration.md).

Tips on how to solve problems can be found in the
[troubleshooting](https://docs.luxonis.com/cloud/advanced/legacy/hub-agent/troubleshooting.md) guide.
