# Firmware

RAE is powered by the Luxonis OS which is our customized Linux distribution.

## Manual installation

Connect to your RAE using SSH and execute the following command.

```bash
mender --install <FIRMwARE_URL> && reboot
```

For latest firmware that would be:

```bash
mender --install https://luxonisos.fra1.digitaloceanspaces.com/build/1.14-rae+6263cb8c60f2cbfc80cc523f2b37581eb38139aa/luxonisos-1.14-rae.dm-verity.mender && reboot
```

Latest firmware, unlocks the ability to control peripherals via API and allows downloading larger images via Luxonis Hub.
